New look to the customer service portal

We’re pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new Information Technology Services self-service portal in ServiceNow.  This new design is a collaboration of ARIT and ETS service teams.  The new portal will allow you to request the technology services you need in one convenient place.

Here’s how the new landing page will look.  We’re hoping that this new interface will provide a better user experience while improving service response times.

The portal will be available early February 2019. In the coming weeks, you’ll receive additional announcements as we prepare to roll out the new portal. In the meantime, you can continue to use your existing service catalogs to report problems or submit requests.

As promised in our last communication, we’re sending you additional information about the new Information Technology Services self-service portal in ServiceNow. Your new portal will be available on Monday, February 4, 2019, at http://ithelp.ucsb.edu/
To help you get ready for the transition to your new IT Service catalog, we’ve created a resource website at http://training.ets.ucsb.edu/, where you can watch videos introducing the portal and showing you how to use it.
We’ve arranged the following live (and Zoom) Zoom sessions for you. Please add these events to your calendar, so you don’t miss out on this learning opportunity:  

If you’re unable to attend, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in future demonstrations later in the spring. For your convenience, we’ll also record the training sessions and publish them at http://training.ets.ucsb.edu/.

Information Technology Services Portal Going Live February 4, 2019

To: ETS Support Services customers and CSF

This is a final reminder that the new Information Technology Services self-service portal in ServiceNow will be live at 8 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2019, at http://ithelp.ucsb.edu/.  In preparation, the existing ARIT and ETSC ServiceNow sites will be unavailable starting the evening of Friday, February 1, 2019. Please note that the new site will work best in Chrome, Firefox and Safari browsers. 

Since our last communication, we’ve added additional content at http://training.ets.ucsb.edu/.  We have also added two large training sessions prior to the go-live date! 

We’ll also record these training sessions and publish them at http://training.ets.ucsb.edu/.

We hope that you’ll take advantage of all these resources to prepare you for the new IT Services portal.
